Masked Duo Steals Mercedes-Benz From Garage Of Long Island Home
Two masked individuals stole a 2024 Mercedes G-Wagon from a Long Island home. The incident happened in Hewlett Bay Park early Wednesday, Nov. 6, after the duo breaking in through a rear window, Nassau County Police said. According to detectives, Fourth Precinct officers responded to a burglary call at a residence on Woodside Drive around 3:40 a.m. Police said the suspects used a pry bar to enter through a rear window, then took a key fob to the Mercedes, which they removed from the garage before fleeing in an unknown direction. LI Pastor Accused Of Sexually Abusing 22-Year-Old Man
A Long Island pastor is accused of sexually abusing a man. Thomas Moriarty, age 62, of New Hyde Park, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 31, following an investigation by the Nassau County Police Department’s Special Victims Squad. According to police, Moriarty – who is a pastor at Church of the Holy Spirit in New Hyde Park – sexually abused a 22-year-old man in Oceanside on Saturday, Oct. 26.
