Woman, 25, Killed After Car Rolls Over Several Times On NY Thruway This story has been updated. A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash after her car rolled multiple times on the Adirondack Northway.  The collision occurred in Saratoga County around 4:50 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 1, on the Northway north of the Exit 14 off-ramp in Saratoga Springs. According to New York State Police Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, the crash caused one of the vehicles to overturn and killed the driver, identified as Makenzie T. Minkler, age 25, of Rensselaer. Duo Busted Posing As Rideshare Drivers In Capital Region, Police Say Police are warning Uber and Lyft customers to be on the lookout for fake rideshare drivers. In Saratoga County, the Saratoga Springs Police Department received multiple complaints about people pretending to work for rideshare companies and accepting fares around the Saratoga Racetrack and downtown areas. On Thursday, Aug. 1, the department conducted a targeted enforcement detail in those areas, ultimately arresting one driver and citing another. Alert Issued For 16-Year-Old Girl From Capital Region Missing Over Week Police are asking for help in locating a 16-year-old girl from the region who has been missing for over a week. Saratoga County resident Jaylee Lyn Lawless, of Saratoga Springs, was last seen on Monday, July 1. Police said Lawless may have traveled to New York City or out of state. The teen is 5-foot-6 and 180 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes. She has numerous ear piercings and two nose piercings.
