BMW Crashes In Hudson Valley After NJ Burglary, Pursuit, Police Say
An occupant of a BMW SUV was seriously injured during a crash in the Hudson Valley that also involved an alleged home burglary and a police pursuit. The incident began in Bergen County, around 8:40 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, in Closter and ended in Rockland County, in Palisades, a few minutes later with a violent crash that rolled the vehicle and landed it back upright. Capital Region Man Accused Of Killing 6-Year-Old Boy Offered Plea Deal Of 15-20 Years
An Albany County man accused of killing a 6-year-old baby who had methamphetamines in his system was offered a plea deal on Friday, Aug 9, authorities said. Anthony Ojeda, 42, of Cohoes, is charged with murder in the second degree, manslaughter in the first degree, and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the 2019 death of Eli Ojeda, the Albany District Attorney's Office said. Fugitive Wanted For Sexual Assault Charged With DWI After Crash In Hudson Valley
A 31-year-old man wanted in another state on sexual assault charges was arrested after allegedly fleeing the scene of a Hudson Valley crash he caused while drunk, police said. Putnam County resident Herson Omar Marroquin Felix of Carmel was arrested on Friday, July 10 in connection with a hit-run crash that happened in Carmel earlier on the same day, authorities said.
