Projected snowfall totals have increased for portions of the region as a winter storm approaches the Northeast. The timing for the system is from around 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2 into the early morning hours of Monday, Feb. 3. Bird Flu Outbreak Kills Dozens Of Chickens, Ducks At NY Farm; 2nd In State This Month
Health officials are working to contain an outbreak of bird flu at a Hudson Valley farm, the second such outbreak in New York this month. The disease – highly pathogenic avian influenza, H5N1, or bird flu – was confirmed at a farm within Ulster County, the county health department confirmed to Daily Voice.
