Recall Issued For Farm-Raised Salmon Sold In 7 States, Including NY
A recall has been issued for farm-raised Atlantic salmon sold at BJ’s Wholesale Club stores in seven states due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, a potentially dangerous bacteria.
Slade Gorton & Co., Inc. announced on Wednesday, Feb. 11, that it is recalling lot 3896 of Wellsley Farms Farm-Raised Atlantic Salmon sold in 2-pound bags.
The recalled salmon was sold only at BJ’s Wholesale Club locations in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia from Saturday, Jan. 31 through Saturday, Feb. 7.
