Police are asking for the public's help in locating the driver involved in a hit-and-run Long Island crash. A white box truck was traveling southbound on William Floyd Parkway in Shirley, near Flower Hill Drive, when it struck a 2015 Kia Optima at 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26. Police on Long Island are asking the public for help identifying a man who burglarized two businesses last month. The incidents occurred in Lindenhurst on Thursday, May 2, at the Paris 1 Nail Salon and Vicky’s Casa del Sabor on Wellwood Avenue.
