1 Suffers Severe Injuries In Crash On Long Island A two-vehicle Long Island crash left one of the drivers seriously injured. It happened around 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct.13, in Hauppauge. A 33-year-old man from Brentwood was driving a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee northbound on Joshuas Path, near Stonehenge Lane.  He attempted to make a right-hand turn into a parking lot and was struck by a 2016 Yamaha motorcycle that was trying to go around the Jeep, according to Suffolk County Police. The driver of the motorcycle, a Centereach resident, age 33, was rushed to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore with serious injuries.  …

63-Year-Old Seriously Injured In 2-Vehicle Oceanside Crash One person suffered severe injures in a two-vehicle Long Island crash. It happened just before noon Wednesday, Oct. 9, in Oceanside. A 63-year-old man operating a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle was involved in the collision with a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee being operated by a 58-year-old man, according to Nassau County Police.  The motorcycle was heading eastbound on Atlantic Avenue when it was struck by the Jeep which was heading westbound on Atlantic Avenue, attempting to make a left on Lincoln Avenue.  The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries to his legs and was transp…
