Suspect In Murder At Posh LI Resort Found Dead 200 Miles Away As Friends Mourn 'Gifted Artist' A Pennsylvania man suspected of murdering a woman at a high-end resort in the Hamptons was found dead hundreds of miles from the crime scene in New York. Thomas Gannon, age 56, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, according to Suffolk County Police. The investigation was conducted at SPA located in Bellmore at 2556 Merrick Road on Thursday, Sept. 5. It was determined illegal massages and prostitution were being conducted at this location, Nassau County Police said.
