Javesh Persaud, age 34, of Shirley, pleaded guilty to sex trafficking and related charges in Suffolk County Court on Friday, Oct. 25. Prosecutors said Persaud met the 18-year-old victim in July 2023 on the now defunct website Omegle, which randomly paired strangers for virtual chats. Queens resident Wilson Rodriguez Peralta, 27, of Maspeth, was arrested without incident on Friday night, Oct. 4 in Hicksville, following a Nassau County Police investigation.  Peralta has been charged with: Sex trafficking,  Criminal possession of a controlled substance, Promoting prostitution.  He was scheduled to be arraigned Saturday, Oct. 5, at First District Court in Hempstead.
