Driver Accused In String Of Antisemitic Threats Around Cedarhurst Injures Officer, Police Say A man is accused in a string of threats and antisemitic remarks targeting random people around Long Island. Nassau County Police said detectives were informed of two separate disturbances in Cedarhurst at around 1:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4.  The first happened near Lincoln Street and Oakland Avenue, and the second occurred near Barrett Road and Washington Avenue. In both cases, witnesses said a man driving a Lexus pulled up and made verbal threats and antisemitic remarks to numerous people before driving away. Woman Crashes Lexus Into Westbury Home Police are investigating after a woman crashed into a Long Island home. The incident happened around 6:45 p.m. Friday, June 21, in Westbury. The 65-year-old woman was operating a 2019 Lexus westbound on Northfield Lane, Nassau Couty Police said.  As the driver attempted to make a U-Turn, her vehicle left the roadway and struck a residential home, causing significant damage.
