Boy Critically Injured After Being Hit By Car On Long Island A boy suffered severe injuries in an overnight Long Island crash. It happened around 9:10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, in North Amityville. The 17-year-old was walking westbound across New Highway at the intersection of Pine Road when he was struck by a 2007 Toyota Prius traveling southbound, according to Suffolk County Police. The boy, a resident of North Amityville, was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip with critical injuries.  The driver of the Toyota, a 45-year-old Brentwood woman, was not injured.  Detectives are asking anyon…

14-Year-Old Severely Injured In Merrick Crash A teenage suffered critical injuries in an overnight Long Island crash. It happened on Friday, Oct. 4, at 9:40 p.m. in Merrick, according to Nassau County Police. A 41-year-old man operating a 2023 Ford pickup truck traveling westbound on Sunrise Highway (Route 27) was involved in a collision with a 14-year-old boy riding a bicycle northbound on Merrick Avenue.   The boy suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local area hospital for treatment. A 46-year-old man was walking southbound in front of 622 Hawkins Ave. when he was struck by a southbound 2016 Subaru Outback, according to Suffolk County Police. 47-Year-Old Critically Injured In 3-Vehicle Crash Involving Amazon Van In Roslyn One person suffered critical injuries in a three-vehicle crash involving an Amazon vehicle on a busy Long Island roadway. It happened around 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 24 in Roslyn. Two men, both age 47, were operating a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a blue Yamaha motorcycle when they collided with an Amazon van operated by a woman in front of 1600 Northern Boulevard.
