A Long Island man has been accused of stalking a teenager after what police say were multiple incidents that occurred between Friday, Oct. 4, and Friday, Oct. 11. The suspect followed a 16-year-old girl while operating a 2013 gray Nissan Rogue in Levittown as she was walking home from school on Wantagh Avenue in the vicinity of Old Jerusalem Avenue, according to Nassau County Police. Child Airlifted, 2 Women Injured In Dog Attack At Long Island Home
A young girl was seriously injured in a dog attack that also hurt two women on Long Island. Emergency crews were called to a Hicksville residence on Lantern Road for a dog bite at around 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15. Nassau County Police said officers found a girl and two women suffering from bites. They also located two dogs inside the home. The girl was flown by helicopter to Cohen Children’s Hospital in Queens with serious injuries to her face. The two adult victims were also hospitalized with leg injuries. A suspected luxury watch thief was nabbed months after allegedly swindling a Long Island jeweler. The theft occurred in Garden City, at the Gross Jewelers on Franklin Avenue, at around 4:20 p.m. Thursday, July 18. Nassau County Police said a man requested to look at multiple Rolex watches. Hit-Run Driver Sought After 19-Year-Old Critically Injured On Sunrise Highway
A month after a 19-year-old man was seriously injured by a hit-and-run driver on a Long Island highway, the suspect is still at large. The incident happened on Sunrise Highway in Freeport at around 11:15 p.m. Sept. 14. Nassau County Police said the victim was crossing Sunrise Highway near the intersection of Bayview Avenue when a dark colored SUV traveling northbound struck him. A Long Island man who was previously accused of exposing himself to a young girl is now charged with possessing child pornography. A fourth suspect has been arrested in connection with an assault on a security guard at a Long Island bowling alley. One person suffered severe injures in a two-vehicle Long Island crash. It happened just before noon Wednesday, Oct. 9, in Oceanside. A 63-year-old man operating a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle was involved in the collision with a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee being operated by a 58-year-old man, according to Nassau County Police.
