6-Year-Old Hospitalized After Drunk Driving Crash In Rocky Point, Police Say A man has been accused of driving drunk after an overnight Long Island crash hospitalized his young daughter. It happened around 9:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 in Rocky Point. Suffolk County Police say the man was driving a 2017 Jeep Cherokee eastbound on Lower Rocky Point Road, when the vehicle veered left at the intersection of Hagerman Landing Road, left the roadway, and crashed. Fatal Crash: 27-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Suffolk County A 27-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle crash at a Long Island intersection overnight. It happened around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, in Medford. The victim was operating a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle northbound on North Ocean Avenue when he crashed into a southbound 2018 Ford van that was attempting to turn left onto Cedar Avenue. Fatal Crash: 38-Year-Old From Farmingville ID'd As Victim In Shirley A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash overnight on Long Island. It happened around 10:15 p.m. Sunday, May 26, in Shirley. Suffolk County Police said the man was driving a 2015 Infiniti Q50 southbound on William Floyd Parkway, just north of Robinwood Drive, when he lost control of the car.  The vehicle struck a metal guardrail and overturned multiple times.
