6-Year-Old Hospitalized After Drunk Driving Crash In Rocky Point, Police Say A man has been accused of driving drunk after an overnight Long Island crash hospitalized his young daughter. It happened around 9:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 in Rocky Point. Suffolk County Police say the man was driving a 2017 Jeep Cherokee eastbound on Lower Rocky Point Road, when the vehicle veered left at the intersection of Hagerman Landing Road, left the roadway, and crashed.
