Man In Michael Myers Mask Slashes Driver In Central Islip: Police Police are searching for a masked man who allegedly slashed a Bay Shore driver in Central Islip on Halloween, Suffolk County authorities announced on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The 2016 Toyota driver was sitting in his car on Brightside Avenue when the masked suspect approached his door around 4:10 p.m. on Oct. 31, according to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Third Squad detectives. The incident happened in Central Islip, outside a business on Brightside Avenue near Islip Avenue, shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31. Suffolk County Police said a man was sitting in the driver’s seat while parked in a lot outside the Hands Across Long Island mental health services building when a man opened his door and stabbed him with a knife.
