20-Year-Old Seriously Injured After Crashing Into Cars, Tree On Long Island A motorist was airlifted to the hospital after slamming into several cars and a tree on a Long Island roadway. The crash occurred at 4:30 pm on Thursday, Oct. 17, in Elmont. A 20-year-old driver of a 1999 red Honda struck two parked cars and a tree on Carnegie Avenue., causing the vehicle to overturn.  The man suffered multiple trauma injuries and was transported by Nassau County Helicopter 6 to a local area hospital where he is listed in stable condition.  Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

14-Year-Old Severely Injured In Sunrise Highway Crash A teenage suffered critical injuries in an overnight Long Island crash. It happened on Friday, Oct. 4, at 9:40 p.m. in Merrick, according to Nassau County Police. A 41-year-old man operating a 2023 Ford pickup truck traveling westbound on Sunrise Highway (Route 27) was involved in a collision with a 14-year-old boy riding a bicycle northbound on Merrick Avenue.   The boy suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local area hospital for treatment. 56-Year-Old Dies From Injuries After 2-Vehicle Long Island Crash A man has died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle Long Island crash. The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 in Glen Cove. A 2001 Mercedes-Benz ML 320 driven by a 64-year-old woman was traveling westbound on Brewster Street and making a left turn when it collided with a 2018 Honda motorcycle, Nassau County Police said. The motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Brewster Street in the vicinity of Mill Hill Road.  The motorcycle operator suffered severe head and facial injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital  in critical condition.
