A woman was killed in an early-morning house fire that spread to neighboring homes on Long Island. Multiple fire and ambulance agencies were called about a residential structure fire in Bay Shore on North Windsor Avenue, at around 1:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30. Of the three adults inside at the time, one woman was pronounced dead at the scene, Suffolk County Police said. Police are asking for tips following a smash-and-grab burglary at a T-Mobile store on Long Island. The break-in occurred in Lawrence, at the T-Mobile store located on Rockaway Turnpike, at around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29.
