Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle midday Long Island crash. It happened just after 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, in Melville. Fred Goldberg, age 92, was driving a 2022 Acura eastbound on Ruland Road when he lost control of the vehicle and veered through traffic, crossing a grass median on the northwest corner of the intersection of Pinelawn Road, according to Suffolk County Police. Two workers suffered injuries after a car crash into a Long Island business. It happened around 12:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, in North Merrick. A 24-year-old woman driving a 2019 Dodge Charger, was involved in a collision with a 2019 Jeep Cherokee being operated by a 71-year-old woman, Nassau County Police said. Combative Driver Injures Officer After Crash In Bellmore, Police Say
A man is accused of assaulting a police officer following a car crash on Long Island. The incident happened in Bellmore, near the intersection of Bellmore Avenue and Merrick Road, shortly before 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14. Nassau County Police said 63-year-old Charles Klimovich, of Bellmore, was involved in a car crash and refused to give officers his information to document the incident.
