Negotiations with a barricaded man are reportedly underway following an alleged stabbing at a Long Island home. Emergency crews were called to a North Bellmore residence, located on Bellmore Road south of Jerusalem Road, about a stabbing and barricaded suspect at around noon Tuesday, Dec. 10. One victim was taken to a hospital with stab wounds, according to preliminary radio traffic. A beloved pizzeria employee is facing a long road to recovery after he was allegedly stabbed by a co-worker while on the job on Long Island. Sal Polizzi suffered repeated stab wounds to his side at the hands of 34-year-old Paul Albinagorta as the two worked the kitchen at Gino’s of Nesconset on Sunday morning, Nov. 24, according to the Suffolk County DA’s office. Polizzi fled the shop along with several other employees as Albinagorta allegedly chased them, threatening further violence, police said. A woman has been apprehended after police say she stabbed her mother to death on Thanksgiving Eve in a quiet residential neighborhood on Long Island, police said. The incident happened just after 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, in Dix Hills. Suffolk County Police said officers responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing at the home on 2 Carman Court. A Long Island man was arrested after allegedly stabbing his co-worker during a dispute. The incident happened on Sunday, Nov. 24, at approximately 11:10 a.m. at Gino’s of Nesconset, located on Smithtown Boulevard. According to investigators, 34-year-old Paul Albinagorta of Central Islip stabbed his 60-year-old co-worker with a knife during an argument.
