Sliding Door Burglary Crew Caught In Long Island Spree: Police
Four men accused of breaking into multiple Long Island homes are behind bars.
The break-ins occurred in Garden City between Dec. 10 and Dec. 20, 2024, with the suspects forcing their way through sliding doors and windows, Nassau County Police said.
Once inside, the group stole cash and jewelry before fleeing in luxury SUVs, according to police. In one case, they burglarized a Brook Street residence, stealing jewelry and $1,000 in cash, police said.

Fatal Parking Lot Beating Lands Long Island Man Manslaughter Charge: Suffolk Police
A Babylon man is accused of fatally beating another man during a violent altercation in a Bay Shore parking lot, Suffolk County police announced Friday, Feb. 28.
James Rogers, 66, struck Mark Iacono, 65, multiple times in the parking lot at 107 East Main St. around 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, investigators said.
Iacono, a Patchogue resident, was rushed to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead.
Rogers remained at the scene and was taken into custody without incident, police said.
