Westbound I-495 will be closed between Exit 48 and Exit 46 in the Town of Oyster Bay nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning on Sunday, March 23, according to the Department of Transportation.
The closures, expected to last for approximately two weeks, will allow road crews to carry out preventative highway maintenance, transportation officials said.
During those times, drivers will follow a signed detour via the North Service Road. The Northern State Parkway will be available as an alternate route.
