Hudson Valley Man Killed In Crash Between Truck, Car A Hudson Valley man was killed in a two-vehicle crash. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 8 a.m., Thursday, June 13, on Route 52 at the intersection of Leetown Road in the town of East Fishkill. According to Chief Derrick Cuccia of the East Fishkill Police, a preliminary investigation revealed that a 2006 Mack truck (Tri-County Carting garbage truck) driven by a 55-year-old Brewster man was traveling eastbound on Route 52 when it struck a 2018 Subaru that was exiting Leetown Road.  The driver of the Subaru, Thomas J. Lane Reductions Expected Along I-84 in Dutchess County Motorists in Dutchess County can expect lane reductions on I-84 beginning next week. The State Department of Transportation is advising Dutchess County drivers that I-84 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Exit 44 (Route 52) in the Town of Fishkill and Exit 46 (Route 9) in the Town of East Fishkill. The work will take place Mondays through Saturdays, beginning Monday, June 17, through Wednesday, July 31, between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., to facilitate bridge painting, weather permitting, DOT said. Hudson Valley Man With 32 Prior Arrests Charged Again With Burglary A Hudson Valley man with 32 previous arrests has been charged again with burglary and criminal mischief. Dutchess County resident Jason Bohlig, age 45, of Poughkeepsie, was nabbed by the town of Lloyd Police on Friday, May 31. According to Lloyd Police Chief James Janso, Bohlig is accused of breaking into a home on Pancake Hollow Road and then running when the homeowner confronted him. He was arrested shortly after and is being held without bail at the Ulster County Jail. Bohlig is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, June 5.

Man, 55, Found Shot Dead In Hudson Valley Parking Lot Police are searching for a suspect after a 55-year-old man was found shot dead in a parking lot in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10:20 p.m., Saturday, June 1, in the area of 472 Main St., in Poughkeepsie. According to Det. Lt. Matt Clark of the City of Poughkeepsie Police, responding officers found the man at the top of the parking area. He was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, where he later died, Clark said. Police have not identified the victim.
