Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

It happened around 6:50 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 in Orange County on Route 302 near the intersection with State Route 17K in the town of Crawford. Stephen Montgomery, age 28, of Pine Bush was operating a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound when the deer crossed his path, causing the collision. New York State Police say the homicide happened in Sullivan County on Saturday, Oct. 5 in the village of Monticello at a house on Lakewood Avenue. 1 Killed After House Fire Breaks Out In Seaford One person died in an overnight house fire on Long Island. The blaze broke out at around 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, in Seaford. First responders observed the second floor of the home on Crescent Cove Drive engulfed in flames.  The Seaford Fire Department extinguished the flames, but the residence sustained extensive damage.  An 85-year-old man was removed from the residence and transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead just after midnight on Tuesday, Oct. 8, by a hospital physician.
