Man Found Dead In Pool At Hudson Valley Home Police are investigating after a man was found dead in a Hudson Valley home pool. The incident occurred in Orange County around 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, on Aster Way in Wallkill. According to Wallkill Police Lt. Robert McLymore, officers discovered the victim, a 79-year-old Sullivan County man from Rock Hill, unconscious and unresponsive while in the pool.  Officers and EMS immediately began life-saving measures, including CPR, McLymore said. Traffic Alert: Bridge Replacement To Close Roadway In Region Drivers should note that a section of a Sullivan County roadway will be closed for a bridge replacement. The replacement will occur in the town of Cochecton on County Road 115—Odell Road. The bridge is located immediately west of the intersection of Fred White Road with County Road 115, said Dan Hurst, spokesman for Sullivan County.  This section of the roadway is scheduled to be closed to all traffic starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, and will remain closed for approximately three weeks.  Travelers will be directed on a detour route using Fred White Road and Tyler Road.
