Crash Temporarily Closes Hudson Valley Road, Causes Injury A vehicle was left on its side following a crash in the Hudson Valley that caused an hour-long road closure.  The crash happened in Putnam County on Friday afternoon, Oct. 4, when vehicles collided on Starr Ridge Road near Danbury Road (Route 202) in Brewster, according to the Brewster Fire Department.  One driver suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.  According to the department, Starr Ridge Road was closed for around an hour as the crash site was cleared. The cause was not detailed.

Cave Rescue: 20-Year-Old Pulled To Safety After 5-Hour Operation In Capital Region A young explorer has some dedicated search and rescue crews to thank for pulling him to safety after he became trapped inside a popular cave in the region. The Albany County incident happened Sunday afternoon, June 30, in the town of New Scotland at the Clarksville Cave.
