Ex-Martial Arts Instructor Who Sexually Abused Young Students In Dutchess Learns Fate
A former martial arts instructor who admitted to repeatedly sexually abusing minors in Dutchess County has been sentenced to prison, prosecutors announced.
Tyler LeClerc, age 27, of Hyde Park, was sentenced on Wednesday, Sept. 3, to 10 years in state prison after pleading guilty in June to multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, according to Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi.
LeClerc pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree criminal sexual act, one count of first-degree attempted sexual abuse, and two counts of forcible touching, as Daily Voice previously reported.…

A 62-year-old woman was arrested for drunk driving with a child passenger after a traffic stop in Dutchess County, authorities said.
The arrest happened on Sunday, Aug. 31, at around 6:30 p.m. on Route 55 in LaGrange, New York State Police announced on Monday, Sept. 1.

A woman wanted on an active bench warrant faces drug charges after she was caught with fentanyl and heroin during a traffic stop on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess County, police said.
