Pleasant Valley Woman, Puppy Killed In Single-Vehicle Highway Crash
A woman was killed in a single-vehicle highway crash in the Capital Region that also claimed the life of a puppy.
The Rensselaer County wreck happened on I-90, near exit 9 in East Greenbush, shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28.
A Pleasant Valley man, 49, was driving eastbound when the vehicle veered off the right shoulder, struck a tree, and overturned before coming to rest in a wooded area, New York State Police said.
