Woman Accused Of Stealing Dog In Region A 46-year-old woman from the region was arrested this week after police said she and another woman stole two dogs from a home earlier this month.  Shalon Jones, of Albany, is charged with criminal possession of stolen property and hindering prosecution, Albany police said. 21-Year-Old Parolee Nabbed In Capital Region Shooting That Killed Man, Injured 2 Others: Cops Police have arrested a suspect in an overnight shooting in the region that killed a man and injured two others, including a 13-year-old boy. The Albany incident happened at around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, in the city’s West Hill neighborhood, near Second and Quail streets. Officers found a 46-year-old woman who was shot in the leg and a 13-year-old boy suffering from a graze bullet wound to his arm.
