Water Main Break Closes Major Roadway In Beacon A water main break has closed a major Beacon roadway for at least the next several hours, Beacon Police said. The break at 388 Fishkill Ave., has closed the road for a long stretch from Blackburn Avenue to Prospect Street, police said around 9:45 a.m. Thursday, March 28. Water department and transportation officials are on the scene working to fix the break, police said.
