Two Northern Westchester Store Clerks Sold Alcohol To Minors, Police Say Clerks at two stores in Northern Westchester were charged with selling alcohol to underage customers in a detail conducted by New York State Police from the Somers barracks on Friday, April 27. A total of 10 establishments were checked during the detail. The two clerks charged were: Danbury resident Nube M. St. Pat's Day Weekend DWI Detail Will Include Checkpoints, Underage Stings The New York State Police and local law enforcement will conduct special enforcement efforts designed to deter drinking and driving during St. Patrick's Day weekend.  The traffic enforcement detail, which is funded through the Governor's Traffic Safety Committee, began Friday, March 16 and runs through Sunday, March 18.  Drivers can expect a number of sobriety checkpoints, additional DWI patrols, and stings targeting underage drinking and illegal sales of alcohol to minors during the campaign.
