For the second time in a month a stowaway was caught on a Delta Air Lines flight, sparking concerns. The flight, from Seattle to Honolulu, was preparing for takeoff when crew members discovered the unticketed passenger onboard, leading to the plane returning to the gate on Christmas Eve on Tuesday, Dec. 24. For the fourth time this year, security screeners stopped a man from carrying a loaded gun onto a plane at Albany International Airport. Agents made the discovery during a routine x-ray screening of the traveler’s carry-on bag Tuesday, Aug. 15, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced. Traveler Caught With Loaded Gun During Security Screening At Albany Airport
Security screeners stopped a man from carrying a loaded gun onto a plane at an airport in the region. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers made the discovery Tuesday, May 9, at Albany International Airport, the agency announced. During a routine screening, the Guilderland man was found to be carrying a semi-automatic 9mm handgun loaded with seven rounds. None of the bullets were chambered. Westchester County Man Busted At JFK Airport With Handgun
Thanksgiving travel got off to a rocky start for a Westchester man who was busted by TSA officers at the JFK Airport with a loaded handgun. On Monday, Nov. 22, officers spotted a man with a .22-caliber handgun at one of the security checkpoints at the airport, loaded with four bullets inside. TSA officials alerted the Port Authority Police, who responded to the checkpoint, confiscated the gun, and arrested a man from Tuckahoe on multiple weapons charges.
