Man Convicted In 'Cold-Blooded' Execution-Style Murder At Housing Complex In Dutchess County
A Pennsylvania man has been found guilty in the execution-style killing of a 32-year-old man at a Hudson Valley, NY housing complex, prosecutors announced.
On Tuesday, Sept. 23, Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi said 24-year-old Khyree Pratt of Philadelphia was convicted of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, conspiracy, and weapons charges following a five-day trial and less than an hour of jury deliberations in connection with a May 2022 murder.

Jonte Wunner, 27, of Monticello, was found guilty of second-degree murder and related charges in Sullivan County Court on Friday, Sept. 19, in the 2024 killing of Jose Rodriguez.
Jurors determined that on Oct. 4, 2024, Wunner intentionally beat and shot Rodriguez, 42, to death inside a home on Lakewood Avenue in Monticello. They found that he then wrapped Rodriguez’s body in a tarp and transported it to the Woodridge rail trail, where it was discovered by investigators.

Amber Geier, 46, of Rotterdam, died from acute septic shock stemming from a bowel perforation, the Schenectady County District Attorney’s Office confirmed Thursday, Aug. 14.

Two brothers who killed a Hudson Valley man who shot him 12 times and left him lying in his driveway to be found by a sanitation worker have been sentenced to years in prison.
The incident occurred in Ulster County in Jan. 2023 in Plattekill.

Jaquan Morrison, of Schenectady, was convicted of murder in Schenectady County Court on Friday, Dec. 8, in the killing of 21-year-old Dwayne Harris.
Prosecutors said Harris allowed Morrison to stay at a Schenectady home, located on Maple Avenue, that he shared with several roommates in April 2022.

On Wednesday, Sept. 14, around 12:30 a.m., 30-year-old Shane Gilleo of Peekskill is accused of stabbing 48-year-old Edward Reeves numerous times with a knife at a residence in Peekskill on North James Street, according to a release by Westchester County District Attorney Miriam Rocah on Thursday, Nov. 10.
