Poughkeepsie Man Caught With Cocaine After Traffic Stop A Dutchess County man was busted with cocaine during a traffic stop in Poughkeepsie early on Friday morning. New York State Police troopers conducted a traffic stop at approximately 3 a.m. on Friday morning on Vassar Road in Poughkeepsie, when the driver, Poughkeepsie resident Steven Vollaro, 38, committed an undisclosed vehicle and traffic violation. During the subsequent stop, troopers determined that Vollaro was in possession of approximately 1.2 grams of cocaine and was operating his vehicle while he was intoxicated.
