A 38-year-old man is behind bars after allegedly assaulting his father at his Westchester home and beating his mother with an umbrella, police said. Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department were called to a Johnson Road home shortly before 4:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1, where there was a report of an assault in progress involving an area family. An irate BMW driver became combative with police officers in Westchester attempting to help him after he got a flat tire during an off-road rage incident. Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department located a driver on the side of the road removing things from the trunk of his BMW 5-Series on Mamaroneck Road near the Harvest Drive intersection at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 16. A security guard from Rockland County working for a day camp at a Westchester high school is facing a felony charge for allegedly stealing an iPhone and debit card from a teenage counselor, police said. A foreign national living in White Plains made veiled threats and became combative toward police officers in Scarsdale after being busted driving with a blood alcohol content more than triple the legal limit, police said. An officer on routine patrol on Post Road spotted a 1999 Mercedes driving slowly along the roadway, swerving over the pavement markings, according to the Scarsdale Police Department. A Westchester County man on probation with three previous DWI convictions is facing a host of charges after being busted allegedly drinking and driving without a license in Scarsdale.
