A New Jersey police officer has been arrested and charged with stalking and violating a restraining order, authorities said.
Joseph D. Pietraszewski, 29, of Readington Township, a Town of Clinfton officer, was arrested on Friday, April 10, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée Robeson said.
Pietraszewski was placed on administrative leave on Friday ,March 27 after making concerning comments to a co-worker about an ex-girlfriend, Robeson said.

Michael Portella, 25, of Yorktown Heights, was arrested on Sunday, April 5, and charged with second-degree stalking, a class E felony, authorities said.
