The fire broke out in the back of one of 10 townhouse/apartments at 6 Eastman Terrace, officials with the City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department said. Four Hospitalized, 40 Displaced In Three-Alarm Westchester Fire Four people have been hospitalized and nine families with a total of 40 persons have been displaced after a three-alarm fire broke out in a four-story apartment building in Yonkers. The blaze at 221 Nepperhan Ave. was reported at 3:15 a.m. Saturday. The four people -- all civilians -- were taken to St Joes Hospital for smoke inhalation, said Thomas Fitzpatrick of the Yonkers Fire Department. The fire started around 3 p.m. Sunday, at 123 Shookville Road, said Jeffrey Galm, second assistant chief for the Milan Fire Department. Fire Breaks Out In Poughkeepsie Duplex Five adults and four children were left homeless after a fire ripped through a two-story duplex in the City of Poughkeepsie. The fire, which started around 6:10 p.m. Monday, at 64 Talmadge St., began on the second-floor of the four-unit building, said City of Poughkeepsie Fire Chief Mark Johnson. Driver, Residents Injured As Pickup Truck Slams Into Danbury House Three people were hospitalized after a pickup truck slammed into a house in Danbury early Saturday morning, according to James Gagliardo of the Danbury Fire Department. Just before 4 a.m. Saturday, the Danbury Fire Department was dispatched to the area of West Wooster Street and Garfield Avenue by Western Connecticut 911 along with City of Danbury EMS and the Police Department for a report of a vehicle into a house with possible entrapment.
