Duo Nabbed With Over 3 Dozen Forged Credit Cards In Region, Police Say
Two men were allegedly nabbed with dozens of gift cards with stolen credit card information in the region.
The duo were charged on Wednesday, Feb. 7 in the area of the Columbia Turnpike in Rensselaer County in East Greenbush.
According to Troopers Stephanie O'Neil, of the New York State Police, Manuel E. Grullon Lopez, 38, of Queens, and Erick Jose Berroa, 26, of the Bronx, were stopped after police received information that the vehicle they were in was believed to be in involved in past diesel fuel thefts using stolen credit information.

Trio Nabbed For Hudson Valley Home Burglaries, Police Say
Three men were apprehended by police in the Hudson Valley shortly after allegedly committing home burglaries.
The incident occurred in Orange County around 7:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 2, on Continental Drive in New Windsor.
The men were identified as Queens residents Jamez Torres Tinoco, age 41; Diego Hernandez-Corba, age 29, and Julian Cortes Cacamelo, age 23, after the homeowner called police to say he spotted the men on his home surveillance cameras attempting to enter his home, said Chief Daniel Valeri, of the New Windsor Police.

Construction Crook: Man Took Payment For Long Island Jobs He Didn't Finish, Police Say
A Hudson Valey man has been arrested on Long Island after he allegedly ran a construction company scam, taking customer’s money and leaving them high and dry, police said.
Westchester County resident Robert Stewart, age 39, of Harrison, was arrested in connection with his alleged schemes, Nassau County Police announced Thursday, Jan. 11.
According to police, Stewart, advertised himself as “Nxt Gen Construction” and took on construction jobs for at least two customers in Great Neck.
He allegedly received partial payments for the work and never completed them.
