Two Westchester Men Shot, Killed After Baby Shower, Police Say A suspect is on the run after two Westchester County men were shot and killed during an argument after leaving a baby shower. Arnold Oliver, age 24, of Peekskill and Jamal Smith, age 28, of New Rochelle, were killed around 11 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 12, in the Bronx, said the NYPD.  According to police, NYPD officers responded to East 198 St. and Webster Avenue, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct for a report of two men shot. Victim Of Double-Fatal Palisades Parkway Crash ID'd As First Responder In Northern Westchester One of the victims of a wrong-way head-on double fatal crash on the Palisades Parkway was a Northern Westchester County emergency medical technician.  Aristan Garandeau, age 22, of Croton-on-Hudson, died around 2:40 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 6 in Clarkstown, said the New York State Police. Garandeau was traveling in the wrong direction on the parkway when he hit another car head-on driven by Brendan Seabrook, 27, of Pennsylvania, who was also killed, said state police. Peekskill resident Matthew Torres has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter and assault earlier this year. The incident took place around 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18 in Peekskill, said the Peekskill Police.
