Grab that broken lamp and alarm clock and head to the Repair Cafe in the Hudson Valley. Experts will breathe new life into your beloved but broken items while promoting sustainability. Rockland County Executive Ed Day will host it at the Pearl River United Methodist Church at 130 Franklin Ave on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Residents of Rockland are encouraged to bring their damaged or worn items—ranging from lamps and clothing to small appliances and toys—to the event.
