FDA Investigates Microdosed Chocolate After 48 People Fall Ill, Including New Yorker
Health officials are investigating a previously-recalled brand of micro-dosed gummies, chocolates, and cones after dozens have been hospitalized and one potentially associated death has been recorded.
On Tuesday, July 2, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gave an update on the investigation of Diamond Shruumz brand microdose products, reporting that since the initial recall, 48 people have fallen ill from 24 states, including New York.

New Restaurants, Stores Coming To Danbury Fair Mall
One of the area’s most popular shopping centers is getting a facelift as developers signed multiple deals to bring new restaurants, stores, and “experiences” to the Danbury Fair Mall.
Site construction has already begun at Danbury Fair on a new Shake Shack and LongHorn Steakhouse restaurants, officials announced this week, marking the first ground-up construction at the site since 1991.

Walmart Launches 'Plus' In Challenge To Amazon Prime's Dominance
In a challenge to online shopping behemoth Amazon, Walmart is launching its own online retail delivery service.
On Tuesday, Sept. 1, Walmart unveiled Walmart Plus (Walmart+), a membership program that grants subscribers unlimited free delivery, fuel discounts, and no checkout lines, according to the mega retailer’s announcement.
