Man Driving Under Influenced Of Drugs Nabbed With Cocaine During Traffic Stop, Police Say A 33-year-old man has been arrested for alleged possession of a large quantity of cocaine and driving while under the influence of drugs. Brandon L. Richardson, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested around 11:15 p.m., on Friday, March 19, following a traffic stop in the Town of Poughkeepsie, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Captain Michael O’Dowd.  According to O'Dowd, Richardson was stopped in the area of Manchester Road in the Town of Poughkto the Traffic Division, conducted a traffic stop in the area of Manchester Road.  An investigation found that Richardson was driving under th…

Erratic Driving Stop Leads To DWI Charge For LaGrange Woman, Town Of Poughkeepsie Police Say A 22-year-old woman has been charged after her erratic driving led to a traffic stop, police say. Town of Poughkeepsie Police responded to the area of Haight Avenue on the report of an erratic driver on Wednesday, March 27 around 7:15 p.m. The responding officers were able to locate the vehicle and conduct a traffic stop on Manchester Road. Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Emily E. Sherow of LaGrange, was driving the vehicle while intoxicated, police said.
