Arlington HS Lockdown Lifted, Parents Can Pick Up Students A lockdown at Arlington High School has been lifted after police gave the "all clear" following the event that was triggered after an automated lockdown alarm was activated. The incident began around 1:40 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3, after the alarm went off.  Officers from the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office and the State Police responded en mass and secured the school before conducting a search. LaGrange MS Students Hold Blood Drive For Classmate Battling Cancer Students at LaGrange Middle School are hosting a blood drive in honor on Thursday, May 3 of their classmate, Emma, a seventh-grader at the school fighting cancer.  The drive will run from 2:15 to 8:15 p.m. in the school gym. This event will help ensure hospitals and patients have access to the life-saving blood they need. Emma is 12 years old and a student at LMS battling a rare renal sarcoma cancer that has spread to other parts of her body. She has undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation.
