Police Evacuate Apartment To Apprehend Robbery Suspect In Poughkeepsie A Town of Poughkeepsie apartment house had to be evacuated Monday after a wanted armed robbery suspect was spotted in one of the units, according to the Town of Poughkeepsie Police. The Mountain Brook Estates at 134 Innis Ave., was cleared around 7 p.m., after police received information that Joseph Crocco, 41, of New Hampshire, was inside one of the units, said Capt. Kevin Faber.  Crocco was wanted as a fugitive from justice for armed robbery, Faber said.
