BMW Crashes In Hudson Valley After NJ Burglary, Pursuit, Police Say An occupant of a BMW SUV was seriously injured during a crash in the Hudson Valley that also involved an alleged home burglary and a police pursuit. The incident began in Bergen County, around 8:40 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, in Closter and ended in Rockland County, in Palisades, a few minutes later with a violent crash that rolled the vehicle and landed it back upright. 30-Year-Old Apprehended After Series Of Violent Attacks In Hudson Valley Town A Hudson Valley police officer and several others were injured by a 30-year-old man during a series of violent attacks. Jamel M. Williams, address unknown, was arrested in Dutchess County on Wednesday, Oct. 26, in the town of East Fishkill. According to East Fishkill Police, officers responded around 9:20 a.m., to Sunset Drive for the report of a burglary in progress where a female homeowner was being assaulted by Williams. Man Sentenced For Westchester Home Burglary A 23-year-old man has been sentenced for a home burglary in Westchester County. Westchester County District Attorney Miriam Rocah announced that Queens resident Kevin Rojo-Rojo, age 23, was sentenced on Wednesday, Sept. 7, to eight years in state prison for a 2021 New Rochelle home burglary.  His sentence will run concurrent to a nine-year prison sentence he received in June 2022 in Nassau County Court for five residential burglaries that took place between January and April 2021.
