Tanker Fire Causes Route 22 Closure Route 22 is shut down in both directions Saturday night in the Town of Amenia between the Amenia Town Hall and the intersection of Route 343 following a tanker fire, the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office reports just before 9:30 p.m. Traffic can still travel west on Route 44 towards Millbrook and east on Route 343 towards Connecticut.
