36-Year-Old Disappears From Hospital In Region Police in the region are asking the public for help locating a 36-year-old man last seen at a hospital where he reportedly refused treatment. The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office said Matthew Russo, address unknown, has been missing since Sunday, June 18, when he was last seen at Garnet Health Medical Center in Harris in the Catskills.  Russo was wearing blue jeans and a white shirt. He is 5-foot-10, 145 pounds, and has hazel eyes and blonde hair. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 845-794-7100, extension 1.  Share …

Man Accused Of Stabbing Grandfather In Region An area man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his grandfather. The incident took place in Sullivan County on Friday, Dec. 16, in South Fallsburg. According to Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, of the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of a person who had been stabbed and sought treatment at an urgent care facility in Monticello. Once at the clinic, the man, who had been stabbed in the abdomen, was rushed by ambulance to Garnet Hospital in Harris, Chaboty said. The victim was then transported to Garnet Orange Regional Medical Center where he underwent surgery.…
