Man From Region Trapped Beneath SUV Rescued By Tow Truck Employees, Police Officer A man from the region who was trapped underneath a vehicle after a parking lot crash was rescued by employees from a tow truck company and a police officer. The incident occurred in Sullivan County at 1:45 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 29, in the parking lot of Tilly's Diner at 34 Raceway Road in Monticello. According to Lt. Man Accused Of Stabbing Grandfather In Region An area man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his grandfather. The incident took place in Sullivan County on Friday, Dec. 16, in South Fallsburg. According to Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, of the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of a person who had been stabbed and sought treatment at an urgent care facility in Monticello. Once at the clinic, the man, who had been stabbed in the abdomen, was rushed by ambulance to Garnet Hospital in Harris, Chaboty said. The victim was then transported to Garnet Orange Regional Medical Center where he underwent surgery.…
