Fatal Crash: Teen Falls Asleep Driving In Hudson Valley, Hits Car Head-On, Police Say A 54-year-old man was killed in a head-on crash after the other driver allegedly fell asleep and crossed into his lane of travel. The incident took place in Dutchess County in LaGrange around 3:40 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15 on Route 55. An investigation determined a 17-year-old driving a 2015 Honda CRV eastbound fell asleep and entered the westbound lane striking a 2021 Kia Sorrento driven by Suffolk County resident Gabriel T.
