Medical Center In Ossining Evacuated After Threatening Text Message An area medical center was evacuated after receiving a threatening text message. The threat to the business, the Open Door Medical Center at 165 Main Street in Ossining, came in around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, the department said. The building has been evacuated and the area is being searched for suspicious items by the Westchester County Police Special Operations Division. Officers from the Ramapo Police Department, local fire departments and a Rockland County Hazmat team were dispatched to the school on Thursday afternoon, when school officials called for an evacuation of the building due to the residue of an old chemical substance that was located when removing cabinets from the lab.
