Emergency repairs had to be made after a major water main break on Kemeys Avenue in Ossining at approximately 10 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, near the Kemeys Cove Pump Station. Officials said that once the break was discovered, a contractor was called to repair the break. Tanker trucks arrived at approximately 7:15 p.m. on Sunday and began hauling sewage. Emergency Repair Will Cause Two-Day Road Closure In Millbrook A busy Dutchess County roadway will be closed to the public for several days next week for emergency repairs. On Monday, Oct. 29 and Tuesday, Oct. 30, there will be no through traffic permitted on Church Street between Manzi Drive and Manor Road as the Millbrook Highway Department performs emergency culvert repairs in the area. According to officials, motorists have been advised to use alternate routes during the scope of the project, which is expected to conclude before Wednesday, Oct. 31.
